divx or xvid
which do u guys choose and y?
does xvid have better encoding? ive never tried it i noe xvids a free thing but thats about it

~WoMeNlOvEr ... so far ive moddded xboxes with: 2 Matrixes 3 Xbits My xbox!: -250 gig -XBIT -4981.06 x2 -orange led for light, matching beautifully with the orange x in the splash screen -Component cable my problem...solved?!: -one of my friends says he can get about 450 files off it!... and now i havent seen him for about 4 months..and ive written him like 11 emails.. iused divx from version 3 but now i enncode with xvid(not yet though)i heard it has near dvd quality.it's a little angry cause i have many divx moviez and can't convert them to vcd/svcd to play on dvd players.

actually i think u can convert em:
http://www.videohelp.com/sefy/?id=divx2vcd.html .. so xvid gives better quality.. while taking less memory? thats what i heard but im not sure also.. whats a good bitrate for xvid? im trying 900 on a movie ill let u noe the results
