http://www.videohelp.com/sefy/?id=divx2vcd.html .. so xvid gives better quality.. while taking less memory? thats what i heard but im not sure also.. whats a good bitrate for xvid? im trying 900 on a movie ill let u noe the results |
Here Luci a link that u should add to your favorites!!
xvid its free and unlike the free divx theres no spyware
i didn't say i don't know hoe t convert the.i know doom9,org.what i meant was that it takes 3 hours to convert to vcd and 6 to svcd.
yea it takes alot out of u
but u can just keep it on at night when ur sleepin or somethin i tried encodin with some xvid codec i got i got some weird greenish movie .. it was the movie but it was like displayed 3 times across the same screen covered in green with lines and sh*t .. so looks like ill stay divx'ing |
i just made a divx with xvid...it ROCKZ!!!it's 1:30min movie and is itted in a 750Mb avi that has kickass quality.
ax what version do you have and what program do u use to encode? |
im usin vidomi and xvid version 2 i think
xvid 1.0.1 is the newest version.i have dvdx and works fine.try updating your codec
I have the same problem. I updated my codec, but I guess vidomi doesn't suppor it. It crashes whenever I try to use it now (with the xvid codec).
Anyways, I switched over to dvdx2.2. I have more control and it seems to be alot better. Anyways, I have everything set up, but I keep fetting this error message when I hit the record button: Quote:
on the output settings where it sais "volume don't exceeds" put infinite.with 1 pass is god damn good
is dvdx 2.2 better than vidomi?
What the hell? People actually do their own DivX/XviD backups? I'm seriously shocked over that. I thought people only downloaded stuff in that format. Anyways...
Considering almost everyone in this thread is from either the PS2 or XBox Forum, surely you have access to DVD Burners? I'm sorry, I really dont see the point in backing up with either of these formats SVCD and more importantly DVD all the way :D Also... DivX/XviD makes Baby Jesus Cry. |
i haven't used vidomi.dvdx is easy to use and has lots of features like full scree mode(makes dvd fullscreen without loosing anything)cut the avi to fit in cd's.
