one of the wires leading to the controller chip...

one of the wires leading to the controller chip was getting caught by a screw used to hold down the metal shield.

ok...the ps2 has now worked a couple of...

ok...the ps2 has now worked a couple of times...but it is intermittent...ie sometimes it plays the game or film..but other times the disc does n't spin and I get no data message.

I did n't cut the track on the bottom of the m2 board...this did n't cause any problems for the first couple of days before i attempted the colour fix. could this be the problem? what does not...

The program was designed to automate echelons...

The program was designed to automate echelons selfboot method. After the initial setup (see tutorial) put your old cd non selfboot game in your cdrom and run copydog it will do the rest for you.
