PS2 V5 30003R.....and MESSIAH 2

Help please..I just installed M2 into PS2 V5. I triple checked all connections for continuity. I also checked each connection for shorts. I used the

new clock point.

Here are the results:
ps2 originals dvd.............ok
ps2 originals cd .............ok
ps2 backups cd....................ok
ps2 backups dvd..................not tested yet
dvd movies local region...sometimes works, other times browser & gold disk appears..pressing X just causes gold disk to reappear
ps1 originals....................not working
ps1 backups...................not working
with M2 disabled............ok

Any suggestions please.

yes i would say your boot method

ps1/dvd turn the ps2 off,press hold the reset button until the blue eject lite comes on

(not double tap as with the origanal messiah)
