you need to run Designer as admin mate to click on those buttons, and installing such programs as teracopy or supercopier may be one of the reasons why those buttons and some features are not working.

the performance page has to be there because there are users with slower pc's and it does make a difference.

I use this commands in free arc.

with very good results but the problem is ISdone.dll doesn´t suport the commands.
currently I use *.bAT file to install games is posible thats this commands works in C.I., I know, Freearc is not multivolume, there are any way to make a comPREssion like

I Compress all files in Data.arc
-> Compress Data.arc in Data.pcf
-> Compress Data.pcf in Data.srep
-> Compress Data.srep in Data.bin
Now how to extract them ?

that feature works. You won't see changes in the Installer Creator. Inno Setup and Installer Creator are not compatible when it comes to Skin Loading. You'll see see the theme if you compiled your project.

Gives this error when I run it.

Problem might be windows xp. It seems like something is forcing it to connect a IP it doesn't want to. Well I don't know anything about IP Addresses.

But there is a way to use installer creator. first. disconnect internet connection then run program. it will work.

Well it's not XP fault or Vista or whatever, this happens to me too on Windows 8.1 x64. The only way to start this program is if I disconnect my internet connection.

Can you add a offlinemode for IC? Its to stupid that we can't use the Program wenn a Trafficlimit is reached. Especially if only the Update.exe needs a Internetconnection, not need the Creator itself.

Thats true, you have to cut the Modem Connection to your PC then IC will start. Without cutting the Modem Connection the Server Error will appear again and again. :eek:

Hey Buddys, I've got a little Problem. I've made a external Compression with Razors Quick Archive Packer. Now my Installer (created with IC) should Unpack the Arcfile but nothing I do will work.
What must I add to IC so my Installer Unpacks the Arcfile? Step by Step please.

Ay, Its Done! The mistake was that the defininition "Data 1.bin" from the compressed file. In IC was the source "Data1.bin". One spacesign to much! :rolleyes:

Name: Game Name
Path: the path to your .exe, if your Game.exe is in a folder like \bin then type bin, if the .exe is direct in your Gamefolder leave this free
Executable: Name of your Game.exe
Binary: your GDF.dll for Game, only important if you like a Game Explorer Shortcut in Vista/Win 7

After Compile and Install your Game you will have a Desktop Shortcut. :cool:

Precomp 042 is error when install ( some one tell me that)
I use your compressor and i can't compression by precomp 0.38 - 0.43 it's error 10%. The precom 0.43 can compression without error

i've set the processor to 4 cores and 2400 MHz + 6GB of ram ( 6144 mb )

and my processor is only 2 core and 2.6GHz + 4gb of ram

razor, before you release the update can you please fix the "system check"?

because doesnt work

i've set the processor to 4 cores and 2400 MHz + 6GB of ram ( 6144 mb )

and my processor is only 2 core and 2.6GHz + 4gb of ram

but the "system" still showing 10/10 o.o

see that radio button. both are selected. even if i click jpg it ask me to jpg bmp and png, for png it ask me jpg bmp and jpg. fix it.

add recent document to ic :)
if you load or open the icp file then ic saved in reg entry
add drop down menu and read the reg entry
when we need the recent document we can get it from drop down menu.

I don't know why, but since Version 1.2.0.0 I can't Compile anything (Internal Compression)! IC begins with Compiling and ends after 3 seconds.

Hm, any reason why it not works for me?
Other Issues are:
The icons for autorun and setup.exe does not shown (like in your Picture), I set an Icon and it's on default (a little Computer) after Compile since version 1.1.0.0.
if I Load an Project the Lang Ukraine and the Icon Window is empty, the small Installer are always on default settings and the small Installer always shows 2 Buttons (minimize and close) which cannot be Modified.

Since the Internal Compression does not Work on my PC I use your Quick Archive Packer for Compile. That helps a bit.

Hey Razor, your installer creator is really awesome! I noticed French translation is not implemented yet. So here’s my small contribution to your great job
--By the way, I tried to test this by injecting it in the InstallerScript and adding a French input in the setup.ini but that doesn’t work:mad:. If there is any chance to test a translation without code change, give me a push in the right direction
--EDIT: Sound installer creator doesn't call the InstallerScript file. I compiled it with Inno Setup and that's ok

I can add video but I have to figure out a way of detecting if video has stopped so that slides can proceed and if there are no slides, video must repeat.

I wanna test a function I built of detecting a whether the running application is 32 or 64 bit to receive correct update since I'm planning on 32 and 64-bit Installer Creator application for full compatibility.

Here is my feedback regarding r1.2.10 with Win7 x64
64-bit flavor
-Installer Creator (64-Bit) is displayed in the application field of the about window
-Except remarks above nothing to report
32-bit flavor
-Installer Creator (32-Bit) is displayed in the application field of the about window
-Windows error message box when the IC is closed: that program may be not setup correctly… [Install again with recommended settings or that program is installed correctly] (rough translation)

Now here my suggestions or problems I noticed with 1.2.1.0 or/and 1.2.0.1
Bugs/problems
[1.2.1.0 or/and 1.2.0.1] The FreeArc compression doesn’t work with –mprecomp+srep(64)+delta+lzma method. The cmd line windows is opened / closed very quickly. No time to read what is the problem.
I used your compress.exe to generate the archive that kind of archive but in that case the installer fails to deflate it.
[1.2.0.1 and certainly 1.2.1 based on InstallerScript.iss inspection] The GDF file registering in Window game explorer fails. Based on my InstallerScript.iss inspection, there is a mismatch between setup.ini keys (Launcher1Binary) and script that looks for: LauncherBinary and doesn’t check Launcher2Binary.

Suggestions/recommendations

I don’t really like the message boxes that ask for disk swap when an archive is not found on the disk. I would prefer the Inno Setup flavor that lets you chance to point another location with a browse button.

But my major recommendation is please let us customize the installer generated by IC. I mean that would be very useful to have access to the script created by IC just before the compilation. Thus, we could modify some stuff and detect bug in the created script.
I’d like to use IC as a super ISTool: it would help to create very quickly and without error nice installer but let us tune it for our personal needs.

Razor, can you edit script to set timer between the slides on total installation process.
(For example: The process installation is 10 minute and I have 10 images. So timer to slide from image 1 to image 2 = 1 minute. And if i have 20 images => timer to slide is 30 seconds). Summary, when process installation finish => the slide images finish also (similar with timer slide in CIU by yener09).

Vietnamese isl is in CIU language folder.
'via': Result:= 'VI'; all depends on how its set, (from 1014 ) for Vietnamese.

I decided to make 32 and 64 Bit IC for full compatibility to your system. Same Program it doesn't mean 32 has more features than 64 or the other way round.

Last update in a very long time, All I can do from this moment onwards is make fixes and no new features.

Nearly the same here. Like before the Internal Compression will not work. With Icon the Process stops after 1 sec. Without after 3 sec. but I've got no Signs like "',./\" in the Product Information.

i didnt use special Characters and using 1.0.0.0 file version

but i found out about the errors. its because the icon. and i using .ico file with 256x256 and still getting error so i trying 128x128 still error :(

ok, people expect an update. Delphi XE3 Nullifies Ico and makes it something else, don't know what format probably png no biggy but sorry for the inconvenience caused.
