Help im a starter

I Have to Computers and want to copy a game on to a blank so we have two copies.
I have Nero burning rom and i am not sure how to do it. Does it need to self boot? the game also has a CopyRight will that affect my copying. The problem is i click copy Cd 2 Cd. & when i go to play it the Auto start kicks in then u click play and it says insert disk!
I really need help with this because i have been trying to copy, unsuccessfully for the last three months.
