Sonic R and problem D:\

Hello! I tried Sonic R with the new patch, and it works on XP. But if I do not put the cd-rom on D: \ not hear the music. There is a work around for the problem?

Make an image of the disk with alcohol 120 or similar, then mount on a virtual drive and use instead of the physical disk
