Any thoughts on DVD burning?

I wanted to get a DVD-RW to backup DVD ROM games, as well as CD ROM games. Wanted to know if there is any specific software for the DVD-RW or a specific DVD-RW that I should or NEED to get.
Let me know what you guys think.

Any comments on the starchp? I've got a US PS2.

Well, we all seem to be getting the Pioneer A03 with PrimoDVD software. All the posts on the Forum say this combination works and it does for me.

As for Starchip, as I told someone else recently, interesting spec. If you go for it, pls report back to the Forum like I did for the OrigaChip.
