Final Fantasy VII & VIII 1xDVD5 *CIU 2.0.2*

Based on: CIU 2.0.2 by yener90
Compression method by: peterf1999 and Fabioddq
Art: found online and ingame
Icon: myself
Music: Couple of songs from the games OST's by Nobuo Uematsu and Final FanTim (remastered)
Tested on: Win7 Home Premium 64bit and Win7 Ultimate 32bit
Final size (English language only, no compression, w/o Redist):
Code:
~3.60 GB's
Made by the request by the fellow member and I haven't finished these games back in the days so I figured this could be the time to start playing them :ii:

1. Install the games and extract attachment somewhere on your computer, NOT in the game installation directory
2. Make one folder on your computer, name it whatever you like, create 2 folders in it and name them: Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII. Now move files from your installation directories to the appropriate newly created folders.
3. Delete all unwanted language files from game folders
5. Start Compress.bat, enter the path of your folder containing both games, wait for it to compile
6. Make ISO files or put all Data cabs in the first folder and test before burning

NOTE
I haven't included support for the Redists so you can put them on DVD and install them manually if needed. Also, you can change the compression if you like.

Awesome!! Thank you so much.

Does this use the original files or the steam versions?

This one is made with the Steam edition but it will work with the original version as well. I just don't know exe names for the original versions. If they're FF7 And FF8, all is fine

Thanks a lot!
Greatful conversion!
Worked for me with two games and all languages! I only changed the conversion method from "m0" to "-m7 -md96m -ld192m" - Ultra compress - and get a Iso File + Redist = 4,36GB
Waiting for a conversion combo with FF3 and FF4!
Thanks again!
