Haegemonia cannot start...!?!

Hi everyone..

I need help to make my game Haegemonia work again....please

I have a game called Haegemonia.
It is not from the original edition but from the 'Sold Out' ...
(yes, it is purchased in a game shop).
I have played it a lot in the past, and lately I wanted to play it again...
but all of a sudden it cannot start it... saying that the file 'HGM.EXE' has been moved or changed.
Ok, fine... I re-install. Same result..

I liked the game for the scenery and a nice plot, so I WANT to play it...
I search the net for some easy answers and find a patch ... well, those usually do the trick so I download it and start it...
It claims that my game Haegemonia is not installed... that is an insult on so many levels

Now, after some calm minutes, I recall that some of the search seem to indicate that Steam have aquired the rights for Haegemonia... but why would that have any impact on an already purchased item...?

If anyone have any ideas, hints or clues, please share so that I (or perhaps others as well), might be able to play a lovely game, yet again.
