Hello Friends
You all know that Iscab.exe is needed for game repacking, but Iscab is no longer available from the 2010 version, however iscab v15 still working with that version, unfortunately from version 17 (2011), iscab v15 no longer works because it has been added unicode support as peterf1999 says
Max Payne 3 uses v.18.0.329 (2012) of Installshield engine

But now onwards a new tool is generated by the user fidq which can easily edit the newly games based on install shield v17 cab file.

I've tested this method with "The Witcher 2" (NOT enhanced edition)

2xDVD9 to 4xDVD4 or maybe less if you remove, non english language.

seems to be working flawless.

I will be making a tutorial if no one do it before me.

Yeh i too, works fine no error, post another tutorial for install shield, i thinks no one has posted the conversion in install shield so u may go now

My software is working best with "version 16 and newer".

There seems to be problems with some version 15 format games.

For version 15 i recommend using the old ISCAB.exe version NOT in my files.

Somebody should make a sticky thread with all the information about ISCAB, if it does not exist.
