I AM a newbie in need of guidance

I'm always willing to admint, I'm a newbie. I just got my PS2 and already being swarmed by headaches of which mod to use...any suggestions here? ANYTHING would be appreciated! TIA!

in my opinion
neo 4 to much money doesnt do enough
neo2.2 better so cheap only 8 wires
origa seems fine chip see (CHARLIE)
MESSIAH LOOKS LIKE THE KING TO ME
MINE IS ON ORDER WILL WRITE REPORT SOON AS I GET PS2 BACK

Hi,

dust2dust has give a very good break down on current mods. I was not that impressed with the NEO4 which is why ive decided to keep my NEO2.2 mod a little longer till i find a chip were replacing me 2.2.

Its down to you really and what you expect and want from a modchip.
