help plzz dvd rip games

is that true that dvd ripped games won't play on a chipped ps2 with neo 2.2 and action replay

That is funny that you had posted a similar question to mine right after me.
As for the problem, i do not have the answers but maybe we can help each other.

What kind of media are you using to burn the games and have you tried burning them on a slower speed. (these solutions did not work for me but i may be worth a try)What version of ps2 do you have? And where are you getting your rips from? Are they from good gaming groups? (kalisto, paradox....)
I have a neo 2.2 with a gameshark 1.6 and a ps2 v.4.
so from what i can see the only similarities we have is the neo 2.2

well good luck, if you come across anything let me know. I'm going to continue looking for answers.

Are we hitting the 650MB game size problem here? All the DVD Rips I've seen working have been within that size limit. I don't recall a post from anyone saying they've managed to get a larger rip working.
