Problem with extracting ripped ISO files - "unexpected end of archive"
Once I have waited hours and ripped the files from the DC to my PC using the serial slave upload method, when I try to extract the ISO images with Winrar, the error "unexpected end of archive" message occurs. When I try to extract the ISO files with Winzip the error "unexpected end of file encountered" occurs. Why? Since purchasing the serial upload cable, I have only tried to rip two games, they are S**a Rally 2 and NBA 2000 and I have encounted this problem with one file from both games.
Someone please help as once I overcome one problem, I seem to come across another. |

Try using [eo version 1.5.0] from www.go.to/selfboot to unpack tracks from the track**.iso.gz that you end up with after ripping. Then from a DOS prompt use the program extract to unpack the *.iso and Raw2wav to convert the raws.
There is also a tutorial on the site. |
