How to prepare ripped game for files non selfboot?

Hi,
I was just wondering what to do to burn a ripped game and make it into a non selfboot, do the files have to be modified or do i just burn the files onto a disk.

Thanks

modify all bin files which contan Text string
"xxxx 000001000000444303031"
change xxxx "5A2E or 5C2E" to
A600 0000010000004443303031

Thanks Xena, but i cannot find these data strings in any of the .bins. This is M.S.R, and trying the selfboot only reboots the D.C after the intro movie, so i thought about giving non selfboot a try as nothing else seems to work, any other comments on getting this game to work greatly welcomed.

Thanks
