Patching Help needed

I understand how to burn games now. Could someone please tell me:
1.How do I patch a game? w/ Cdrwin
2.What games need to be patched?
3.How do I know whether I need to use CdClone or Cdrwin( i dont want to waste Cd-r's)
Thanks

look at ####://www.psxcopyworld.co.uk there you might find everything you need !!!!

watch the tutorials and get ppf-o-matic.

cdrwin is the best programm to backup patched games !!!!!

you have to patch ntsc games in to pal with a ntsc-2-pal patch

and ea games with ea-swap-fix patch !!! <---- there for you might better get the ea-patcher from ####://www.eaptcher.com !!!!!

good luck

To add to the valuable advice offered by dr-schnaggelz:

If you have an internal modchip and your burner is fully compatible ( ####://www.elby.de ), then CloneCD avoids patching, including for EA games.
