Raven Shield in XP problems

Hello all,

I have digged my old ravenshield and reinstalled it on my DELL laptop with a nvidia 8800GT video board.

The game starts (I have patched to the 1.6 version) but it seems the video is flickering like it wants to go back and forth between window mode and full screen mode, of course this slows the game VERY MUCH and it is unplayable.

Does anyone knows about this problem and a fix for it ?

Thanks

TippeX create a tool that may allow you to play the game using only a single-core from your multi-core processor.

Also i don´t know if it will help, i had the same issue with sacred, using a quad core cpu and quad sli config, i found out that turning the resolution on the game options down to 1024x768 and no AA or vsync fixed the issue.
