rip in what way?
rip dvd9 -> dvd5 / whatever? or to rip a game from the installation to make a game rip that you'll release on the internet?

Install the game, (apply the latest official patch,) apply the crack, export the game's registry entries into a file, compress it (with e.g. RAR) and archive it on a hard disk/burn it onto DVD's (along with rips of your other games). That's how I do it.
