Could it be the boot disc?

I burned nba 2k1 and tryed it on a dc and i know it not a self-boot. I put the boot disc in and then nba 2k1. The screen stays the same (utopia insert disc) then nothing happens. How can i know if it the game of the boot disc that doesnt work? I burned it with clone cd at 4x on a Acer 74 mins cd? please help

well if you see the reindeer then the boot disc is fine if you don't there is a problem,
most likely you set the mode wrong on the settings you used to burn it
