Alien Vs Predator 2 & Primal Hunt (3CD to 1CD) (496MB)

This conversion will repackage AVP2, Primal Hunt & AVP2 Modding Tools into one 496MB executable. Additionally if you follow these instructions properly, the games will be pre-patched, pre-cracked (optional) and No-Intro Fixed, plus, obsolete components such as Sierra Update and the DirectX 6 Installer are removed to save space.

This is my first time submitting something like this, so forgive me if I've overlooked something.

What you will need:

1. Original AVP2 and Primal Hunt CD's.
2. AVP2 Patch 0.96, Single Player Map Update #1 & Multiplayer Map Update #1, available on the Primal Hunt CD or here: http://www.fileplanet.com/31037/0/0/0/1/section/Patches
3. AVP2 Modding Tools with Update 2, available on the Primal Hunt CD or here: http://www.fileplanet.com/31045/0/0/0/1/section/Other

Conversion Steps:

1. Perform Full Installations of both games to their default directories (C:\Program Files\Fox\...) DO NOT CHANGE THE DEFAULT PATH!
2. Install the 0.96 Patch, SP & MP Map Updates, AVP2 Tools and then Tools Update #2.
3. (Optional) Crack the games.
4. Extract my files (AVP2.7z) with 7-Zip or compatible decompression utility to C:\Program Files\Fox2 and nowhere else.
5. Run C:\Program Files\Fox2\Process.cmd and go make a coffee, this can take a while.
6. Open C:\Program Files\Fox2\AVP2.iss with Inno Setup.
7. Hit compile. Make another coffee, check the mail and walk the dog.
8. DONE! a new file called AVP2_Setup.exe will now be on your desktop.
9. Clean-up... uninstall AVP2, Primal Hunt & Tools. Then delete C:\Program Files\Fox and C:\Program Files\Fox2.

Notes:
1. Not all registry entries will be carried across by this process, so you wont be able to install AVP2 Tools on an installation made by the repackaged installer. So that's why the tools are included as an option instead of being left-out to save an extra 15MB.
2. You can trim more out, such as the tools by editing the AVP2.iss file prior to compiling.
3. No clue if multiplayer will work properly, I haven't tested this yet.
4. You can cut-down on compiling time by reducing the compression level prior to compiling. If you intend to burn the repackaged installer to a CD by itself, you won't need to save the extra space anyway.
5. This repackaging works on machines running Windows XP. I don't know how it will work on other Windows OS's.
6. If the cracks I've linked to are used, or you leave the games uncracked and use the origional Play Discs, these games should install and run alright under Win9x, but this is untested.
