Spellforce2 1.02 Euro patch does not work for me

Hi,

I don't know if the location of the Spellforce2 1.02 Euro patch is important before executing it, but I've put it in the Spellforce2 directory, and it says :
"The file 'SpellForce2.exe' could not be located in. Please reinstall the game and restart the update intaller".

I don't want to reinstall the game that works correctly since the first time I've installed it.
It is installed in another directory than "the one for newbie in computing C:\Program Files", even in another partition than "C:". Has this patch been created to be able to search correctly for the SpellForce2.exe, that can be for exemple in the same directory than the patch, or does it search only in "Program Files" ?

I have an OEM Euro version that came with a Winfast PX7950GT TDH 512Mo.

some oem versions of games don't handle updates correctly... that could be the whole issue
