Question: Utopia Boot CD

I'd like to know how the Utopia Boot CD works, does it just search for the 1ST_READ.BIN file after the DC boot up with the Boot Disk, or is it going through the IP.BIN too ? I mean, why do i have to put the IP.BIN on a BootDisc game when it is only used for self booters after some hacking. I'd also like to know if the Utopia Boot Disk searches only the low-density tracks of a CD ROM or also the High Density region of a GD ROM. Maybe the file Utopia is searching is on the low-density region of a GD ? Would like to know, because its very interesting.
