Help with F.E.A.R. Extraction Point

Somebody help this NOOB. I have F.E.A.R. the Gold Edition. I have cracked the FEAR part but cannot crack the Extraction Point. The folder Sierra/fear has the fear exe. in it and there you can also find a folder labeled "fearEX" and inside it is the fearex.exe. Is that where I'm to put the crack for extraction point? My fear dvd version is (fear 1.8) (fear extraction point 1.0). For some reason the fear extraction point crack will not work. I only play single player and have not updated extraction point. But I still have to use the dvd to start the game, the crack does not work with extraction point. Need to know where to put the crack I downloaded from game copy world. Thanks for any help.

You copy the crack over the same file as the crack is named, you already said in the FEARXP folder is a file called FEAREX.EXE, so logically you copy the crack there!

There has been no update to the Expansion so the crack should work!

Tried that but it does not work.

Everything work OK without using a crack, i.e. with original disk and exe files?

Yes, when I used the crack it changed all the language.

What language is the game you got? Maybe the crack is for English version and not for the Gold Version?

Sorry Barry. it was not Fear that changed the language but call of juarez. My bad but the fear xp crack still does not work. When I put the crack in the fear/fearxp folder it will not work for me. Don't know why but it just does not work. I will try some more but thanks for the help.

Ok here is what I think is going on. I have FEAR XP v1.0 and the crack looks like its v1.07. I have looked everywhere for the update but can't find it. They have a site listed on gamecopyworld.com that takes you to the updates but I can't figure out which one I'm to download. Thats sucks. Oh well its doing just fine using the dvd. So I will just play it like this for a while and then look some more.

The last F.E.A.R. patch was v1.08, F.E.A.R. Extraction Point is still v1.0. You sure you're copying the correct crack across?

If I recall, If you install the Expansion it updates FEAR to v1.07, it does not update Extraction Point!

FEAR exe is called FEAR.EXE and Extraction Point exe is called FEARXP.EXE!

Yea that is what I have. The Gold Edition that I have is "FEAR v1.08" and "FEAR XP v1.0". I have not tried it again yet but will in just a little while and will let you know what happened.
