Smile darkfix -free gamma display adjustment

Do you need a "free" tool to make gamma adjustments to any display you own and you are to busy to google for it?

For example gamma, brightness and contrast adjustments to old thinkpads like a 600X?
And you don't want to invest any money for it; e. g. in a program like power strip?

Or do you have a graphics card from nvidia or radeon where you can't "fine" adjust the screen with the latest drivers?

Than I would download the tool "darkfix" from this page: http://www.ben-huebner.de/.

A great tool which you won't regret downloading.

Thanks for your interest.

darkfix - free gamma, contrast, brightness adjustment

The tool is so easy to use if you have it on your hard disk so let me translate the buttons to you.

I hope downloading is no problem for anyone.

The menu "Datei" means file.
If you open the menu "Datei" you find the word "beenden" which means end or leave the
programm and "minimieren" which means minimize to task bar.

Aside you find the word "Einstellungen" which means settings. And in the settings you find the option
start with windows and the option to use hotkeys instead of the sliding controllers.

Once again aside you find the help function with a hint to the author.

I also hope GAMMA= gamma, Helligkeit=brightness and Kontrast=contrast is not in need of an explanation.

The double arrow sets back to former values.
The german word "Profile" means profile and "speichern" means save as. By using both buttons you can save
individual values in a profile with an optional name.

Having downloaded and modified the display you don't have to use the tool again when you reboot.

Maybe we have somebody in the forum who could decompile the program and translate it depends
on wether the author agrees. Googleing for it you have to use the words "gamma+tool" in the german i-net.

I would also appreciate any more questions.
