TOAW Century of Warfare v1.04 NoCD assistance please?

Hi all,

The no-cd for 1.03 exists here, but I have need of upgrading to 1.04 with no-CD.

I have taken an couple of stabs at making my own, but I am totally new to this and haven't been able to come up with a working solution.

I was hoping that some kind soul could take a 'crack' at this.....

It seems that, later, another 1.04 update was released, this time without copy protection. See http://www.patches-scrolls.de for official game updates.

I am having a problem searching the recommended site. I will keep at it.

One note - if it is the German version of TOAW COW, it will not work with the English installation.

I'll post back once I have found it and tried it.

Okay. I cannot seem to get a search of any kind to work on the site listed. I've tried "TOAW", "COW" and I hit search and nothing happens.

Can anyone help me out with this?

Oh, Jesus... Don't search for abbreviations but complete words instead; or simply try letter T.

Okay. Thanks for tip.

I got the file and tried it. It may say that it is a no-CD patch, but it will not run unless I put my CD in the drive.

I uninstalled everything (as a test) and reinstalled the game and then each patch. So even with a 'clean' install the 1.04 "no-cd" update still seems to require the CD.

So I renew my request for someone to take a look at the 1.04 patch and create a no-cd version of it.
