MAKING SERIAL CORD

Some one told me that you needed a cord to copy games, but i have had no luck on finding any sites that can explain where to make it.

And if possible, is there another way to create dreamcast games that is easier than this whole cord idea, someone must know a simplier or have a better description of a technique.
