Applying PSO patch DOS ERROR

I tried applying the pso-patch that is posted in the 'news' when you first vist dccopyworld.com and i got the pso.cdi and the psopatch.ppf but when i go to dos and type "applyppf pso.cdi psopatch.ppf" it says bad commend of file name. I have bot hof the files in the same directory so what do i do. Is there a patch applying program that i can D/L? Thak You for your time
