Online Play w/ only CD Image?
Hi, I had previously thought this was impossible, but now I'm a little curious, is online play possible if you are only using the CD image. For example a little bit of an older game, Empires: The Dawn of Modern War, is it feasable to update it and solve the no CD problem without a no cd crack?
I'm only asking because the thread about Neverwinter Nights 2 seemed to indicate that people were doing this with NN2 with programs like YASU? Your insight is appreciated!

Just clarify what you mean by 'CD Image'?
If you have a legit CD-Key (if the game uses one for online play) from your original game and use a mini/maxi image to launch the game it may be possible to play online without the original CD/DVD inserted. You would have to either make your own mini/maxi image from your original or download one if it exists and test this with your particular game.
