BF 2142 Question

I'm building a new system, so that means a fresh install of windows on my harddrive.

I go to college, and I left my case to bf2142 and my cd key is in that.

I have 2142 still installed with the key used right now. I was wondering if there was a way to go into regedit or something and get my cdkey and write it down so I can install it on my new windows install.

Thanks.
