mod chips
I know a lot more about xbox modding than 360. I want to get a 360, but may not want to if there are not yet any mod chips for it. So I am asking, are there any decent mod chips out for the 360 yet?

Good mods? mmm, I personally don't think so, but there are firmware hacks that will allow you to play backed up games. It won't allow unsigned code, so that means no emulators and homebrewn apps like that. You need to flash your xbox dvd drive with hacked firmware, which will trick the console into thinking that the game is running off an official xbox dvd disk. Everything still needs to be signed though, so that means that you cannot modify the game with trainers and the likes.
