Just Cause (DVD9 to 2 DVD5's)

Note: Just Cause wont fit onto 1 DVD5 disc even after removing the 1GB of language files etc! So if you dont have a Dual Layer burner then you will need to create your backup on 2 DVD5 discs.

1) Create 2 Temp folders on your hardrive.
Name these folders CD1 and CD2.

CD1:
2) Copy all the contents of the Just Cause DVD9, except for the Data4.cab and Data5.cab files, to the CD1 folder.

CD2:
3) Copy the following files, and the Crack folder, to the CD2 folder:

binkw32.dll
data4.cab
data5.cab
d3dx9_26.dll
engine32.cab
JCSetup.exe
JustCause.exe
layout.bin
pc_file_order.log
readme_en.rtf
readme_fr.rtf
readme_ge.rtf
readme_it.rtf
readme_sp.rtf
settings.txt
setup.ibt
setup.ini
setup.inx

5) Burn the contents of the CD1 folder to a DVD5 with the Label: JustCause
6) Burn the contents of the CD2 folder to a DVD5 with the Label: JustCause
Remember: Burn both DVD's as a UDF disc!

Note: When installing you will be prompted to insert Disc 3 that contains the file data4.cab. The installation will continue successfully.
And yes it will prompt for Disc 3 NOT Disc 2.

@lonegunner
No, copy all those files I mentioned in the above post to DVD2 but also include data3.cab on DVD2. Dont put data3.cab on DVD1.

You can put it on DVD1 if you like but then you will be prompted to insert Disc 3.
If you put data3.cab on DVD2 (with all those other files i mentioned above) then you will be prompted to insert Disc 2.

And because some of the files are over 2GB in size you wont be able to burn it as a normal Data disc. They will have to be burnt as UDF discs.

Missing file?

i dont seem to have the file pc_file_order.log (isobuster + magic iso used to check / extrack), so i cannot copy onto the correct dvd, all other files seem present and correct. without the file installer asks for the file, when not given it installer exits before completion. tried alt-ctrl-del and stopping installer at this point, leaving file structure on the install dir. and using fixed exe from megagames but instant error messages and crash. can someone please upload pc_file_order.log to a rapidshare account.
thank you

This file is definately on the original DVD!!

Why would you use either of these programs to check? Why wouldnt you just look on the original DVD!!??
I suspect you are checking for this file on the iso you downloaded!!

And no-one is going to give you a file which you can obtain from your original DVD!! It is against Forum Rules to give original files!

I found a way to fit Just Cause on a single DVD5

after I replaced ITA GER FRE and SPA dialogue files with dummy files
the game is around 5 GB,
now I have to recompress biks video files with rad tools,
UPDATE:
I recompressed most of biks at 40% of their size, and now just cause has around 4,09 GB
but i couldnt modify the original cab files so I created a new setup with setup factory
