Re Out Break 2 Backup Problem

hi, i buy this game a couple days ago. The game works well on my Ps2, I didn't see any problem when I play through the game. But when I insert it into my DVD drive on my PC for backup, it seemed that my Pioneer DVD drive didn't recognise it. Right-click on the drive to see it capacity, it only report that the disc a RAW disc.
I run DVD-Decrypter, then it report an error: "I/O Error!....blah...blah...blah...Unable to Recover TOC!". Alcohol even didn't know the disc is insert. Blindwrite 6 recognised the disc but it said this is a DVD+R and it's imcomplete. Finally I use Nero CD-DVD Speed tool to scan it, it repot this is a DVD+R disc, the capacity is unknown.
I'm pretty sure that my DVD drive support DVD+R. I've tried on other DVD drives like Aopen, ASUS, Sony & still can not solve this problem. What's the problem is it? Anyone Help!

I'm not sure, but I think it's original because I bought it with box and the disc looks just like original. But all i want to know is what's the problem with it & how could I solve this. I've backed-up a few games before with no problem but with this I give up ! Please help! Have anyone got the same problem?

sometimes my pioneer (slave drive) will not reconize dvd movies but when i put it in my lite-on (master drive) it works fine

try another drive or make sure your drive is set to master

My drive is set to master but it's still got the same problem. Also I've tried another drives of my friend like you said but still can't help. God! I think maybe I'll end up like this (. Is it really no-one that got the same problem like mine?
I think I must try another way to back it up. My PS2 is Slim Version. Is there any softwares that can make an ISO file directly from PS2 to PC through a network adapter?

Sounds to me like the discs dodgy if it is indeed an original copy.

I'd take it back to the place of purchase. Regardless of how it works in your PS2, it should still read in a standard PC DVD-ROM.

What colour is the underside of the "Original" disc. If its silver then its original or a pressed backup, if its light or dark purple then its a copy.

the underside color of the disc is gold, not silver nor light, purple (I think so!).
I have take it back to where I purchase then I only receive their reply that the disc is only has warranty for playing only PS2, not for reading on PC .
Damn it! What can I do?

They cannot prove that you inserted the disc into a PC, can they? (Also, what kind of warranty is when you're not allowed to put the disc into another device of the same kind?!)

It's not possible to tell if it's been in a PS2 or a PC-DVD-ROM etc, they're talking sh*te

Sounds like you bought it from the most irreputable shop on the planet, lol.

Send it back and tell them it doesn't work as it should and you want a replacement or your money back. What they're doing is scare-mongering and showing the signs of a VERY dodgy company
