c&c first decade

Hi, i just bought c&c the 1st dacade for my pc and would like to know what is missing from my computer as i keep getting a error message each time i try to install it,1 have a advent pentium 4 2 gig ram 3400 processor and its got the xp windows, on my lesser machine it works , i noticed that as soon as i used windows xp update option even my original quake 4 no longer boots up either, checked for viruses, spyware and used registry mechanic but i still get this error code e:\ is not a valid win 32 application, same comes up when i try the setup from disk, i have been in touch with advent and ea support not help there never had this problem with my amd chip set machine

This may be a configuration problem, e.g. a required service not running etc... If you get specific error messages, look them up on Google or the Micro$oft home site. Also, if you don't get help from the publisher, you may want to contact the shop where you bought the problematic PC and ask for help. Good luck!

(Uhm, aren't you trying to install stuff from a mini image?! That's what is used to give such errors...!)

i just put the disc into the drive on my other machine and up comes the install menu but on my new comp i get a new pic to saythe disk has been inserted but the error comes up when i click on the drive, using explore the disc ive tried to run the setup and same happens all programs on the cd comes up with the same error, all work fine on other machine and i have also installed over games with no problems, thanks
