WxRipper does not work for me

Using a Samsung DVDROM drive with top removed on an ASUS mobo SiS chipset. and using WxRipper 1.2

I am attempting to use Wxripper 1.2 to create an image of my original xbox360 game.

I put in a dvd thats the biggest i have which is just a hair under 8gb. It comes up as 7.9Gb, but Wxripper recognizes it. So i press find the magic number, and it does. It comes right up with no error. Then i press stop spin and it stops and i carefully remove the dvd and place the xbox 360 game into the drive without hitting eject. I then press Spin drive............................................. .................................................. ................

Absolutely nothing happens. The spin drive text pops up like i just pressed it and the button is shadowed as if permanently clicked and the drive does nothing and the program is frozen. You can not even End task the program.

What on earth am i doing wrong here???

In my experience, this is usually caused by using a copied large-TOC DVD and then inserting an original 360 DVD. This will cause the symptoms you specify. Failing this, it just seems that your drive is incompatible with this method, as some drives re-check the TOC etc when spun back up (this is only applicable to very few drives - my old LG was one of them ).

Hmmmmm... well im using an original copy of the Buckaroo Bonzai dvd. Yes i said Buckaroo Bonzai. If youve heard of it then you win internets from me.

But other than that, would the master or slave settings on the drive or where it is plugged in affect that? I have 3 drives plugged in, 2 DVDRW on the first IDE cable and this is the third plugged into the second IDE cable.
