Unhappy Harddisk Problem

I recently dropped my 40gb seagate hardisk........and now it is not working whenever i conect my harddisk to my computer it makes strange noises like "kit" "kit" "kit" "kit" "kit".....soooo i am really worried coz i have very important data on that disk so please can any one could help me how to fix my hardisk or recover data from it.....

It seems that the read/write head is crashed, so noone can simply restore your data.
You need to contact a data restoration firm where you can send in your hd.
