c&c Generals

hey everybody, i was just wondering if there is a no cd patch out for 1.08 for command and conquer generals, i searched the website and i found a no cd for 1.07,
what happend was that i updated the game to 1.08 and used the no cd patch, it loads up the game fine and i go into online games fine, but all the online games are shaded grey signifining that my version differs to the ones ppl are playing, how can i fix this?

hello, I found your message by chance. I have C&C Generals but I don't know
anything about your question. You played this game online. Could you tell me why I can't log in Generals online. Every time when I click "create accont" I receive the message "invalid serial number" but I enter good real serial number. I will be grateful for your help. Tell me please What I have to do to play online.Thank you very much.

Where do you got the serial from?

Only time you will get that invalid serial, is


1. The serial has been entered wrong, i.e. a 0 instead of O and 1 and l and so forth.

2. The serial has already been used in another account, so taking the serial from a friend or buying a 2nd hand version of the game you wont be able to play online (unless for the 2nd hand user gives you his account also)
