install it, goto options, highlight "ABOUT" it will even say it is version 1.04 (P.S. i already emailed this info to Admins) i was hoping it was real i got disc but dont wanna put it in all the time now ill still have to mount image

i don't know what are your probs, but just pass the mouse pointer over the cracked exe file, it tell you: FILE VERSION 1.0.7.613 is version 1.07

I don't know if work proper because have no time to test it.

I know that but its fake it does not log in to halo 1.07 servers it logs in to halo 1.04 servers to tell, start game goto options, highlight about, that tells true version, where u highlight the file it dont count trust me i can make is say bananarama or whatever.

the crack is fake, oep differs from really crack

wardog, goto options in main menu, highlight about, hmmm what version does it say 1.04, oh my, of course it worx its just 1.04 NOT 1.07

Well my source is the one to thank, not me, I just brought it to peoples attention

As has been pointed out it's the Deviance v1.04 crack with header realigned and version number changed, if you run the dev 1.04 through petrim and compare the carbon crack there is a section of over 2mb that is identical to the Dev v1.04, methinks phil8900 has been busy in his FAKE FACTORY

But I didn't fake cracks, i would never do that.
I thought I "knew" the "crackers" from "carbon" - they sent me their "cracks" via irc...

Now the channel isn't there anymore & everyone thinks i'm the bloody faker..

You can believe what you want, but i didn't do anything.

But why should i do that? I'm not a credit-whore, i'm a respected guy in some places on the net (not to be mentioned here, but i can pm you if you want to)..

anyone shouldn't blame phil8900 - he had good intensions & not everyone has time to test/compare/bytecheck each nocd or other dox

as for carbon - it's quite sure that other cracks are bummers if they have stolen a crack for prehistoric safedisc v2.7 game (that also explains why most of them are internals); we have here the same situation as for volkswagen group which also has stolen reloaded's crack patching some bytes and/or adding useless code jumble to hide it...

i testem them - but you can't tell if it's a real crack from just testing it for a little while - they seem to work fine, sorry...

And even when you compare the real crack with the fake - they seem to have tousands of "changed" bytes..

I'm very sorry about this situation - but i can't do anything about it..

@SafeDisc 2.7: I think i could even dump that one with some tutorials...

I'll read some and will try to create a real crack..

Calm down guys. Phil8900 did nothing wrong, a bad crack gets on the site once in a while (sometimes even on purpose), things like that just happen. But phil, you should be cautious of people sending you executables on IRC, it's a bit of a jungle and you could get a lot of virusses/trojans that way. Anybody on IRC can claim to be someone else and lots of them do for fun...
