1 PS2 CD Games - use CloneCD ( ####://www.elby.de )

2 DVD Games - use Pioneer A03 burner with PrimoDVD software

3 IRC Downloads: Depends on the format made by the uploader. After unpacking, it'll be evident. Usually there will be 2 files, a CUE file and a BIN file. This would be burned back to CD with CDRWin.

####://www,ps2ownz.com and ####://www.psxcopyworld.co.uk has tutorial info for the advice I've given in 1 & 2 and for CDRWin. I don't do downloaded games.

It matches what Playstationmods claim for the NEO4. I don't have a NEO4 but if it works as claimed, then yes. Remember NEO4 won't play import Originals.

ANSWER: ####://www.elby.de/ provides a list of burners that are compatible. If your combo drive (all burners are combos) is built into the PC, you can go to Device Manager in Windows and determine what the underlying device is (Liteon -xxx). Then that is the device you look up in the CloneCD list. Sounds like the reader/burner is not compatible, being unable to read sub-channel data. YOU HAVE TO BE PROPERLY EQUIPPED TO DO ALL THIS.

ANSWER: Yes. yOU PLACE YOUR COFFEE MUG ON A COASTER.

ANSWER: An import is a game from another system. If you have a PAL system, US and JAP ORIGINAL games are imports. If your Oni is a copy, it could have come from anywhere. If it's Jap, it would boot to a load of Jap text. If your Oni is original, the DVD box will have NTSC-J in the top right hand corner.

I recommend you do a bit of basic research about CDs/DVDs by looking at ####://www.cdrfaq.org/ and ####://www.cdrinfo.com/software/clonecd/index.shtml which deals with CloneCD

Careful - if you go to the PSX Forum and read the latest thread started by Mr Gamester you'll see what some of the less patient members of the Forum will say!
A DVD burner is like the Pioneer AO3. A DVD reader is like the Freecom I ot II Travellor DVD-ROM. You would have to buy and attach a DVD device. For PrimoDVD info search the web on that string.
