LOTR BFME2 Game.dat problem...

After installing the game , I apply the patch and replace the org. game.dat with the one reloaded provided. When I try to launch the game , game.dat crashes.(The screen blinks as if the game is launching but then boom.) I have tried everything possible to fix this but I could not come up with a solution?? Any ideas...

Does the game actually run from the original disc, without using any cracks?

most likely common sense, and/or experience, and/or reading other nfo's, before raising something like this again about a member, check his post count.. its usually a good indication of his experience
