Problem with "The Suffering:Ties that bind"

First of all, hi! A few months ago when I was still playing games downloaded from the Internet(I don't do that anymore!) I tried to play the game "The Suffering:Ties that bind", entered the warez cd-key but due to the Starforce protection the game did not run. I removed the game and nowadays(actually yesterday) I bought the original game. The problem is that it did not run, too The problem is that the game "remembers" the old warez cd-key. The problem is that the original game does not require the entering of a cd-key at all and works fine just after checking the disc(I have tried it on another PC and it works). My question is the following: is there any way to remove this warez cd key from the registry(I don't know if it's actually there, I am just guessing)and to remove the whole Starforce protection before reinstalling the game? I tried this program but unfortunately it did not help me http://cdmediaworld.com/cgi-bin/dl.cgi?f=starforce_clean!zip. Please help me and greetings to all of you, dudes!

Because this falls into the "problem with original game" category, you should contact the publisher, NOT this forum. Whether they like the idea that you played a warez copy of the game until now is up to them.

(I think this post is quite "on the edge" so I'll close it rather than letting the discussion continue. Sorry! Read the forum rules and remain on the safe side.)
