Halo 3 not coming out until late this year at the earliest. :(

I've read a few articals about the game and up until now the rumor was that the game was going to be released right around the same time the PS3 comes out, but the latest thing I've seen says it won't be released until late this year at the very earliest or most likely not until sometime in 2007. My guess is that they will wait until next year and release the game slightly before the Halo motion picture due out in 2007.
After checking for games due out for the X-box 360 in the near future. I can only find a boxing title (FNR3), Full Auto, and College Hoops 06. It sounds like a weak lineup to me so far.
