modchip and hdd

Hey guys

I have a magic 2 (I think) modchip installed in my ps2. I am also planning on getting a hard drive and i was wandering if I could do that.

ps. I have no intentions on going online and wish to only backup my games as my modchip has stopped responding.

You can still use a hd along with a original HDLoader. You may want to get the chip fixed so you can run the patched HDL

what does the patched HDLoader do that the normal one cant do?

It has Improved Game compatibility settings, Larger HD support plus a few other goodies lol. Just Look around the net, Its easy to find
