Question Ps2 & Dvd-ram?

Hi

I am trying to make my first PS2 backup, NFS Most Wanted, and have encountered a few problems.

I have an LG GSA-4040B drive & a couple of high quality maxell DVD-RAM discs. Are these supported?

I'm having trouble burning any type of image onto them, they seem to be formatted or something as i can drag & drop files onto them like a removable disc.

I used dvd-decrypter to rip the image, but when i went to burn it said the disc wasnt empty even though it was.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks
