I am looking for a NOCD crack, too. I am wondering as I bought UFO aftershock some time ago, but there still seems to be no crack...

Does anyone have an answer?

yeh.
i created an image of UFO:AS and re installed it and now it doesn't recognise the serial. so now i gotta take it back cos i can't play it. this is bloody annoying cos the short time i played it i enjoyed it!!!
i did the whole unplug dvd drive, use starforce nightmare to disable cd and channel 1 etc but still doesn't seem to like my serial.

fact is, sf still made me wait a long time whilst it checked my disc [before playing] which is the reason i wanted a nodvd crack or somethign along those lines in the first place. i'm just dead tired of having to wait 8 minutes for a game to start whilst the disc verification is running. i'm sorry but 8 minutes [on average] is just too long to wait before i can play a game i paid money for.

sadly it's going back to the store <bugger!!! i really wanna play this game, too!!>

Go to the StarForce Forum http://star-force.com/forum/index.php post under Technical Support, I've read about this problem on a number of different forums and it’s (as far as I know) a very fixable problem.

if my serial key didnt work with a bought copy then i can't see how a downloaded version would work either.

think i'll wait till i get a new dvd drive.

Thing is... the keycheck is a part of Starforce... NOT the game... in my opinion, using the crack(especially right after installing the game, before starforce is installed when you try and run the game the first time) will bypass all starforce... and therefor the keycheck...

Though since I dont have the crack, there is no way to be certain. And i'm not going to download an obviously pirated game just for a crack, so i'm back to removing my drive from my laptop to avoid running the risk of damaging my original.
