NAPA MP3 Trouble...

I have a NAPA mp3 player. 512 MB. I went to use it one day and it said that there was no files. I knew this was not true as i loaded it only a few hours before. And when its was connected to the computer all the files were still on its memory.

Anyone know whats wrong or how to fix this? And is it a common problem
