'weed' music

does anybody know about 'weed' music files? i got some 'weed' music files from an artist the other day. i went to play them, and they're protected. i can play them, but only 3 times, then i have to buy them. i want to know how to convert this damn file into a regular format (preferably mp3). this isn't just a regular protected wma file. does anybody know or think they might know of a way to convert this to mp3?
