BnW2 winxp 64
Hi i run win xp 64, and i bought a black and white 2 hoping i would be able to play it despite not having a cd-drive connected. The reason for this is i run 7800 cards in sli, and i dont have enough power to drive those two cards , my harddisks, and a cd drive at the same time.
I install the game via a network mapped cd drive from another computer, but it wont recognize the cd via the network drive. I tried downloading the various images here and mount them with filedisk with no luck. Does anyone know of a solution that could help me? any programs out there that can mount theese images on win64 yet? Thank you for your time. |

So why don't you simply use TWO PSUs? One for the hdds for example and one for the rest... don't know how to get the second one running without a mainboard / powerswitch connected, but some way it should work...

yeah, thought about that, i could mod it into the case so it wouldnt look too bad, but problem would as you say not havin it connected to the motherboard.
like i would have to start it before i start the computer, but i guess if i use a single one for just the cd drive, it shouldt cause any troubles, ill give it a shot ^^ ty |
