i found finallya No-DvD crack for FEAR and its really functionable

This crack works for v1.01 too. At least it did for me. :-) Finally, no need to **** with the DVD all the time.

the 1.01 patch updated the .exe, so i wouldn't use the cracked 1.00 one after patching the game to 1.01.. it may disable the fixes that came with the patch.

Are u sure? I don't think the EXE was updated... It says V1.01 retail in the game's main menu.

yes i'm sure, just check the version attribute in the properties of the exe file.. it says 1.0.0.0 for the unpatched exe and 1.1.0.0 for the patched one
