utopia boot cd wont work

my friend said he burned the boot disc totaly correctly and wanted me to test it out and it didnt work so i figured i was doing something wrong so can someone help me out and tell me how im supposed to use the voot disc

Put it in your/his DC. Turn the DC on. Then if you see a reindeer its burned correctly. If not then its not. You only need it with non self-boot games.
