What's the difference?
 Can someone tell me what is the difference between DVD-9 and DVD-5?

Generally it indicates the amount of data stored on the dvd.
DVD5 is about 4,38 G, DVD9 ~ 7,9 GB (DL).

does size make a difference or is it what you do with it?
if the only difference is size how can games like GT4 and God of War be converted from a DL DVD-9 to a DVD-5. Apparently this can be done. How? wont data be lost?
